Guest Rooms and Suites - The Henry Mischler House


The Henry and Louise Suite, named after the former owners, has a scenic view of Abraham Lincoln's Springfield home. The bedroom features a queen-size bed, a rocking chair and antique dresser. A 27" television with DVD player is also in the room. The adjoining sitting room has an antique rose-carved sofa, mahogany desk, and 13" television. This suite has a private bathroom down the hall with an original clawfoot bathtub with shower and pedestal sink.

This master bedroom is located on the first floor. The room is named after Henry's father, Phillip. The Phillip Mischler cottage was built in the 1840's and is adjacent to the Bed & Breakfast. The Mischler boys played with Willie and Tad Lincoln. Phillip's Room is furnished with an antique, oak queen-sized bed, mahogany dressers, and a 27" television. The room has a private bath with a shower within the room.
